Tomatin 14 year old, single malt Scotch whisky, is particularly soft and smooth with quite a significant sweetness steming from having spent a year in second fill Port casks.
Nose: has good hints of honeydew melon, ripe red berries, rich baked apples, toffee, honey and bitter dark chocolate.
Taste: is full of mixed fruits and nuts which include peaches, apricots, mangos, plums, walnuts and pecans.
Finish: is like a smooth fruit salad which lingers for quite a while on the palate.
