Peat Chimney is a Scotch whisky that combines a small batch selection of peaty Islay, Highland, Island and lighter Speyside single malts to create a hand-crafted whisky named for its mellow balance of sweet peat smoke, maritime character and subtle citrus flavours.
The whisky has been blended and bottled in Edinburgh though the Wemyss family trace their toots back six centuries to Wemyss Castle in the Kingdom of Fife. This imposing castle sits atop ancient cliffs and caves know in Gaelic as Wemyss. Today Wemyss Malts are family whisky makers that produce bold, flavoursome and balanced whiskies.
