In 1972, this top-tier white rum emerged as the flagship brand of St. Lucia Distillers, born from the merger of the island’s last two distilleries, Dennery Distillery and Roseau Bay Distillery. Created using 100% Coffey still rum, a blend of double-distilled rums derived from Guyanese molasses, it is then aged for two years in ex-Bourbon casks and undergoes blending and filtration to eliminate coloration. While it reigns as the best-selling rum in St. Lucia, it remained a local treasure, never venturing beyond the island’s shores until now.
